WHAT A PRODUCT RECORD SHOULD SHOW

Simple for customers. Useful for buyers.

CUSTOMER-FACING

Origin & identity

The named product, declared origin, appropriate harvest or processing information, batch reference and supported quality facts.

TRADE DOCUMENTATION

Quality & compliance

Grade, moisture or sensory assessments where relevant, processing and packaging information, and available documentary evidence for the specific transaction.

Each record must distinguish verified facts from development concepts. A laboratory result belongs to its tested sample unless the subsequent commercial batch is separately assessed.

Personal producer information, exact private plot coordinates, confidential buyer terms and payment information would not be published in a consumer profile.

AN EXAMPLE FROM OUR COFFEE COLLECTION

1920’s Heritage · Nyasaland Arabica

The Rhino Origins coffee page records a laboratory-assessed sample from West Nile, Uganda that scored 83.25/100 at Coffee Minds Hub on 21 October 2026. This is a result for the assessed sample, not a certificate for every roast, harvest or packaged batch.

A future origin profile for a retail bag would need the specific sourced lot, processing and roasting references, packaging date and any applicable quality results before showing a verified batch-level claim.

The wider range includes independently sourced regional products. Not all are PTPT products; sourcing claims will reflect actual records and agreements.
