Rooted in Uganda. Inspired by East Africa.

Uganda has a remarkable agricultural landscape, shaped by its people, growing regions and traditions. Yet exceptional produce is not always recognised for its full potential when it reaches the market as an anonymous raw commodity.

Rhino Origins aims to help change that. Through considered product selection, quality-focused processing partnerships, thoughtful packaging and clear storytelling, we seek to make Ugandan products more visible, more recognisable and more accessible to customers at home and abroad.

Our East African outlook also allows us to introduce distinctive products from neighbouring regions. We identify the origin of each coffee or other product clearly, rather than presenting everything as Ugandan.

The collection we’re building

Rhino Origins 1920’s Heritage Nyasaland Arabica coffee pack from West Nile, Uganda

Speciality coffee

Our signature 1920’s Heritage Nyasaland Arabica celebrates coffee from West Nile, Uganda. The wider collection introduces distinctive Arabica coffees from Eastern DRC, including Maragopipe and a forthcoming Arabica Typica.

We use product-specific tasting information where available and avoid treating a sample assessment as a guarantee for every batch.

Six Rhino Origins loose-leaf tea concepts inspired by East African flavours

Tea, honey, cocoa and more

Our range extends to loose-leaf teas and infusions, regional honey, gourmet vanilla, cocoa and chocolate, with herbs and spices in development. Each category gives us another opportunity to celebrate ingredients, flavour and the value of careful presentation.

Some collections, including our six signature teas, six chocolate flavours, and herbs and spices, remain in development. Final ingredients, origins, specifications and availability will be confirmed before sale.
